Q: What is Ivory Tower Tutors' approach to tutoring?
A: We start globally. We look at your entire educational universe. We arm you with the skills and strategies you need to not only raise your grades and achieve high test scores but to succeed once you've gained admittance to your chosen university's programs.

Q: What are your rates?
A: We offer premium services to advanced, adult and pre-professional students and we only offer our students the most brilliant, experienced and qualified mentors who will help you reach your goals in the fastest way possible. We are dedicated to respecting the time of our students and tutors. Consequently we charge a minimum of $100 - $150 per hour for our services. Rates are dependent upon the experience of our tutors and the scope of work provided to our clients.

A: Although we are academics first and foremost, we are also businesspeople, and as such we like to help our students save—and even make—some money. Here's how. . .

We offer discounts to students who:
• would like to share services (maximum three).
• sign up for a block of hours
• purchase multiple offerings such as homework help and test prep or test prep and academic counseling.
• refer a friend. The more friends you refer the deeper the discounts.

Q: Where do Ivory Tower Tutors hold sessions?
A: For your convenience, we can come to your home; we can meet in a comfortable public location, such as a coffee shop; or we can work together online via webcam; or over the telephone or Skype. We are very flexible regarding places and times.

Q: Can I change my tutor?
A: We place a premium on matching you with the right tutor for your needs and personality. In the unlikely event you don't care for your tutor, we will make the necessary changes.

Q: What area of the United States do you service?
A: Ivory Tower Tutors is based in and serves the New York City, Five Boroughs region.

Q: I don't live in that area. Can I still use your service?
A: Priority goes to students in the New York City area of course, but we offer mentoring/tutoring services over the telephone and online via webcams, Skype, chatting, IM, and email.
